The Collision groups mode is the mode for defining the groups and content for collision analysis while running a (interactive) kinematic simulation.
Before being able to run a collision analysis it has to be defined which geometrical objects are checked against each other. The geometry is added to collision groups.
When picking a geometrical object or objects, a dedicated pie menu can be called to define these collision groups.
Activate the Manipulator
New group
Add to an existing group
Remove from the group
(Replaces the Add command on selected and already assigned geometry)
Select an assembly
Edit the group name
Remove the whole group
Define a collision check
When all groups are intended to be analyzed against each other, the pie menu can be opened in the 3D view
Activate the Manipulator
Define all collision checks
Toggle the Show / Hide workspace
Change the Operation mode

In the Simulation settings the collision analysis can be defined in more detail.
