Process geometry

Process geometry is an attribute, or a collection of attributes, referring to the geometry of the workpiece. It is no real geometry.

Process geometry is being used to create (controller) programs for manufacturing processes that are applied on the workpiece geometry. Therefore, each manufacturing process, i.e. each technology may add different attributes to this process geometry. Generating the process geometry is therefore mandatory to be able to create such a manufacturing program.
