Purpose

Use the Controller Builder workbench to configure the controller ports.
|
|
|
In the controller properties, the port configuration will be set to the specific situation of the brand and type of the selected controller. The controller connector will be defined to enable the communication between the FASTSUITE controller and the virtual controller of the specific brand and type.

Steps

|
Switch to the Controller Builder workbench.
|
|
|

|
Select the controller to be in work.
When switching to the workbench, the software will automatically preselect a present controller in the layout.

Define the port configuration properties
|

|
Open the Controller properties dashboard from the toolbar at the right side of the 3D view.

|

Open the Port configuration container. Set the attributes:
Max. joint ports: 18
Max. logic in-ports: 32
Max. logic out-ports: 32

Open the OLP Translator container. Choose the required translator with the enhanced signal support.

Define the simulation connector

Select and Open the Simulation / Connector Settings dashboard from the toolbar at the right side of the 3D view.

Create a new connection using the Kawasaki VRC connector.
|

|
Give the connection a proper name and set its attributes:
IP address: 127.0.0.1
Controller index: 1
|

Save the controller.
|
|
|
|
Be sure to save your data frequently.
